1.hi i want to know how many will be writing this CEED& NID exams every year, how will be the competition for these exams
2.i've seen the question papers of CEED & NID the questions appears simple i mean to say any body can answer it but wat exactly they expect from us in the exams, how they evaluate the papers wat guarantees one that he/she can be the top score
3.after the CEED wat the things onehas to under go to get into IDC or CPDM how will be the tests & interview
where can i get the study material for ceed prepration.what kind of prepration should i do??

1. About 2500 candidates took CEED last year. I am not sure about NID.
2. Regarding evaluation, atleast for CEED I am sure, things depend more on luck. The nature of examination is subjective. So there will always be some haziness about the criteria. However, do not get discouraged. Try your luck.
3. Best answer will be from Bhusan.

i am applying for ceed 2011 and aiming for mobility and vehicle design in iit-b. i did my btech in automobile engg this year only but was not aware of ceed so missed it. i have good imagination and creative abilities. i am good at engineering drawing but am at learning stage in freehand curvy drawings. I desperately want to get into this course. Kindly give me guidance about how to go ahead with the preparations and if i need to develop any new skills, i will be really grateful.

1) Is there is any age limit for persuing the M.Des course.
2) Is there any minimum percentage required in graduation for persuing the the M.Des
3) Is this course available for working professionals on part time basis by any chance?
I have completed my engineering with higher second class. It's been quiet some time that i completed my engineering. I am currently working with an MNC in non desing workstreem but find myself inclined towards design. Because of the age and percentage i am not sure if i will be eligible for M.Des course. kindly advise.

Hari @ I guess as you said question papers are easy, anyone can answer this.
I think its about quality n concept from everybody's answer.
Anybody can answer may be, but the ideas from diff people will be diff.That's where the creativity comes across.
I guess students gonna be judged on that aspect.
Rest easy looking things esp. by IIT..is not easy at all. It surely be more difficult than difficult looking things :)

thers no percentage criteria for writing ceed. after u write ceed u have to apply to diffrernt universities. iit delhi requires 60% marks and other iits 55. this is however relaxed by 5% for backward classes. the last date for ceed 2011 application is over. it was nov 1st

I have applied for NID (Product Design), didn't recieve hall ticket yet (22-12-'10), so I called today at NID Academics for this query, they replied me to wait for 4~5 days, as dispatch of Hall tickets is still going on. BTW, I am from Rajkot, Gujarat. and will inform when I'll get my tickets,..
